About Us

Molly Cushing is a contemporary artist based in Rocky Face, Georgia.  She is known for merging stained glass, fused glass, painting and found objects into her work which helps evoke a sense of depth and wonder glass alone cannot accomplish.  Molly primarily focuses on floral and creatures and does not follow conventional design whether it be by adding a background of dark and moody color or implementing “found objects” that ground the art in history or memories for the viewer.  Molly has worked with glass for 18 years and mixed media all her life.  Her work is being exhibited at Teravarna’s International Flower Exhibit and was awarded an honorable mention. Beginning In April she will be showing some of her work at the Atlanta Artist Center.  Molly has also received an award for her work from the Chattanooga Farmers Market.  Through her work Molly calls forth a love and empathy for the fellow animals and plants.
